Final Fantasy VII Rebirth — PS5 Buying Guide
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the middle chapter of Square Enix's FFVII remake trilogy — a massive open-world RPG that expands the story well beyond the original game's Midgar section.
What to know before buying
- Play Remake first — Rebirth assumes you've played Intergrade; it's not a standalone starting point
- Standard vs Deluxe — Deluxe adds a art book and soundtrack app; no story content
- New release timing — first real discounts land a few months after launch
Where to buy cheapest
As a newer release, Rebirth holds list price at first. Key stores like Green Man Gaming undercut the PlayStation Store once the first sale window opens — worth watching if you're not in a rush.
Prices change frequently — always verify on the store before purchasing.
