The Last of Us Part II Remastered — PS5 Buying Guide
The Last of Us Part II Remastered brings Naughty Dog's divisive, gorgeous action-drama to PS5 with higher framerates, graphical upgrades, and a new roguelike mode, No Return.
What's in the Remastered version
- 60 fps performance mode — the biggest upgrade over the PS4 original
- No Return — a standalone roguelike survival mode
- PS4 owners — can upgrade to the PS5 remaster for a small fee rather than rebuying
Should you rebuy?
If you own the PS4 version, the cheap upgrade is the smart move. New players should just buy the PS5 remaster. Discounts tend to track the HBO show's seasons, so watch for cuts then.
